Known as “the best place for mountains and rivers in Guanzhong”, the ecological and cultural tourism of Lake Meibei Scenic Spot system is located in west of Shaanxi HuYi District, which is a forest garden in Qin and Han Dynasties and a tour resort in Tang Dynasty. It is a successful practice of ecological civilization by Xi’an municipal party committee and government. Based on the overall planning of Xi’an and relying on the unique historical culture and water ecological resources of Shaanxi HuYi District, Lake Meibei Scenic Spot is a national exemplar of water ecological culture tourism area with the goal of becoming a national 5A tourist scenic spot.
